Today this, tomorrow that

Yesterday I visited Selfridges with no intention to buy anything basically. But look what I found over there! Isabel Marant FW 12 13 boots. . . At first, it was a love at first sight… but after a bit I thought that nowadays, that the blogging business is really a business, with bloggers setting the trends when the collection appears, and not when it hits the stores, maybe this investment will be out of the door in a second. And I kept asking myself, is the trend over by the time it hits the stores? I think it is...Isabel Marant fw 12-13 boots? Yeah, ok, in one week the SS13 show will be on style.com and these shoes will be so last season! 

So I couldn't help but wonder...Is tomorrow’s fashion, yesterday’s news?

And as these thoughts were crossing my mind (oh yes, what a huge problem I had! Big problems in this world, anyway...) I realized that when you buy shoes like these, you actually think a bit more in the long term. I want to have this shoes even if I never wear them, even if I put them in my house and decorate them, even if are 1000 seasons ago and I decide to wear them. These shoes are timeless in my opinion and I would like to consider myself as a collector of items that I will remember forever...

What do you think? The industry runs so fast, the collections and the seasons pass by so quickly without us realizing any trends and new things that we want to explore for the new season… Before winter arrives, we look at spring, and when spring arrives winter has come…

London Diary

Being alone is never easy for a fashion blogger ! I have to take pictures of myself that most of the time are not so interesting!! But what can you do? Maybe I should by a tripod and a remote to use my camera and photograph myself as weird as that might sound.. anyway these are some photos from my trip to London a week ago. I visited the Damien Hirst exhibition at Tate Modern, The Ball Gown exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum, and lots of shops as well! I love this Acne skirt and this Etoile Isabel Marant dress...

New addition!

My new balenciaga glove sandals! I found them on sale here in London and the price was quite reasonable so here they are! Can't wait to wear them. I really wanted them in black but the python is nice as well... what do you think???

I am leaving London today and a nice summer is waiting for me in Greece so I can't wait to return...I had so much fun here though and I look forward for my next chapter in London starting in Spetmebr.

Weekend diary

I had the most amazing time this weekend in my country house in a small village in Greece. The sea was perfect and the weather was so hot! I wanted to post these photos because I want to show that no matter what happens in Greece it remains a magical place and even though the situation is really difficult for Greek people they can still find peace and enjoy the beauties that this place can offer.

The Willow sneakers! The shoe that changed the concept of the sneaker... This shoe loved by girls and hated by their boyfriends (at least mine is not a great fun of them), is one of the hottest trends right now, and will be for quite some time! Worn with skinny jeans, maxi skirts, mini skirts, shorts, whatever that is, those shoes make an outfit cool! They might be a bit chunky, but the "secret heel" gives the elegance needed to make us walk and run like true fashionistas! Isabel Marant gave the sneaker shoe a whole new meaning...
