Commes des Garcons FW12 show was one of the Fall shows that really caught my attention. As the designer Rei Kawakubo dealt with the concept of 2D and 3D, she created structured garments with volume and shape. All garments appeared to be flattened at the front but then when seen from the side they gained back their third dimension. The oversize, graffiti like prints, created playful and unique combinations making the garments even more fun as the models definitely had a cartoonish appeal! With beautiful and interesting garments, genius Rei Kawakubo, made once again her statement through a conceptual and innovative collection.
